These symptoms are part of energy metabolism and ion transportation symptoms recognized in the International Consensus Criteria and are optional diagnostic criteria for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis.
Loss of thermostatic stability: e.g. subnormal body temperature, marked diurnal fluctuation; sweating episodes, recurrent feelings of feverishness with or without low grade fever, cold extremities.[1]
