Michael Snyder, PhD, is a functional genomics and proteomics researcher. He is Stanford W. Ascherman Professor and Chair, Department of Genetics and Director, Center for Genomics and Personalized Medicine at Stanford University. He was a participant in the ENCODE project and in 2019 joined the scientific advisory board of the Open Medicine Foundation. In addition to his genetics research, Snyder has also been an innovator in wearable devices (including smart watches and continuous glucose monitoring) that may aid ME/CFS research.
