Kinesiophobia

From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history

Kinesiophobia or kinesophobia or kinetophobia is a morbid fear of movement.[1]

Kori (1990) defined kinesophobia as “an excessive, irrational, and debilitating fear of physical movement and activity resulting from a feeling of vulnerability to painful injury or reinjury”.[2]
