Chronic Immunological and Neurological Diseases or CIND is a term used to refer to a group of diseases affecting both the central nervous system and immune system.[1]

CIND generally refers to: Myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME) and chronic fatigue syndrome
CIND also includes:
- Addison's disease
- Alzheimer's disease
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Motor Neuron Disease
- Autism
- Celiac disease
- Chronic myofascial pain
- Crohn's disease
- Epilepsy
- Irritable bowel disease (IBD)
- Systemic lupus erythematosus (Lupus)
- Lyme disease
- Mold/Biotoxin Illness
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
- Parkinson's disease
- Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and Orthostatic intolerance
- Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CPRS) or Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome (RSD)
- Ulcerative colitis[1]
International ME Awareness Day[edit | edit source]
On May 12th every day, International ME Awareness Day is held to increase awareness for CIND.
