Bhupesh K. Prusty, PhD, is the Group Leader in the Department of Microbiology, Julius Maximilian University of Wuerzburg, Germany. His research expertise includes the molecular mechanisms of latency and activation of Human herpesvirus 6 and the finding of the chromosomal integration and inheritance of Human herpesvirus 7.[1]

Education

Dr. Prusty earned his doctorate in Biosciences from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, India.

Dr. Prusty is a substitute member of the Biomarkers Working Group of ME/CFS across Europe on behalf of EUROMENE, a European Union COST Action CA15111 not-for-profit research organization committed to tackling the cause and treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.[4]
