Ketotifen is a drug used to reduce or prevent allergy symptoms. Ketotifen is available either as:
- an oral medication, taken daily to prevent asthma attacks or reduce their severity, or for allergies, sold under the brand names Zaditor or Zaditen[1][2]
- eye drops, e.g. for allergic conjunctivitis, relief of itchy eyes from hayfever, or allergies to grass, ragweed, or animal hair/dander; it is sold under under the brand names Zaditor, Claritin Eye, Alaway, Eye Itch Relief, Zyrtec Itchy Eye Drops, Thera Tears Allergy Eye Itch Relief, or Refresh Eye Itch Relief[3]
