TIGIT or T Cell Immunoreceptor With Ig And ITIM Domains, alternatively known as WUCAM or Vstm3 or VSIG9 is a protein and antibody which has an important role in the immune system.[1][2] The gene that encodes the TIGIT antibody may also be referred to as TIGIT.[3]
Function[edit | edit source]
TIGIT is an emerging immune checkpoint, and a number of drugs targeting TIGIT are undergoing clinical trials for a number of types of cancer.[2][3]

A 2021 study by Verma et al. using immune profiling that TIGIT may have an important role in fibromyalgia.[1]
