MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition: This page contains the list of javascript "Gadgets" that are shown to users in their Preferences. Each item on the list needs a page of the same name in the MediaWiki namespace containing the gadget's name and description, see MediaWiki:Gadget-ReferenceTooltips for an example. The ReplaceText visual editor gadget is not shown here and is loaded automatically for all users. See MEpedia_talk:Gadgets for a description of all gadgets installed. This page forms part of the MEpedia interface, and can only be edited by administrators or interface administrators. To request a change to the page, add your request to the discussion page, tag several administrators or interface administrators, and add a description of your request. If this is a system message or skin it may be documented on MediaWiki.org or translatewiki.net. Gadgets may be documented in MediaWiki, Wikipedia's gadget list or Wikipedia's User scripts list. |
Add switcher[edit source | reply | new]
Can you please add the following code to the end of the MediaWiki:Gadgets-definition, it's needed to get the Template:Switcher radio buttons working. As with the previous code, it's copied from Wikipedia so should not be an issue. User:Kmdenmark notjusttired (talk) 21:45, July 2, 2019 (EDT)

- I'm a bit confused. I thought the gadget you wanted to install was "Gadget-switcher.js", not "SidebarTranslate.js"?
- I'm also curious. Does Wikipedia review gadgets in any way? I thought that Wikipedia did not endorse the gadgets that individual users come up with...

- User:Pyrrhus Wikipedia doesn't endorse most of the code there except the MediaWiki software, eg not the Module, Templates or other things. Add Replace / Replace Text gadget[edit source | reply | new]
Please add the code below (as usual, without the "pre" tags). Purpose: Creating a "Replace" / Replace "All" gadget in the visual editor for replacing text on the page being edited, which would be especially useful for mobile users and for fixing repeated typos. This is work only for the current page being edited. User:Kmdenmark documentation source with typos fixed.
