Kerry McCarthy

From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history

Kerry McCarthy is the UK Labour party MP for Bristol East. She has a close friend who has ME which provides personal motivation for her professional interest in this area of health (her interest also includes fibromyalgia).

She was a Co-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group on ME (now disbanded).

She was a supporting MP requesting the UK Parliament Grand Committee Room debate (21st June 2018) and spoke in this debate.
