Glutathione (GSH) is an important natural antioxidant in the body. Low levels have been found in the brains of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) patients by Prof Dikoma Shungu [1] and Dr. Benjamin Natelson.[2] Additional published studies showing GSH depletion in CFS patients were presented at the AACFS Seventh International Conference Madison, Wisconsin, October 8-10, 2004 by Richard Van Konynenburg.[3]
