Ecklonia cava is an edible brown alga grown in Asia.[1] Ecklonia cava extra is sold as a supplement, and is an antioxidant and flavinoid with anti-inflammatory properties.[1] Seanol is an extract of Ecklonia cava that is a key ingredient in the supplement FibroBoost.
Theory
Ecklonia cava extracts may be neuroprotective, and help modulate the immune system.[2]
