UBiome

From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history

uBiome is a microbiome testing service available direct to consumers. It is based in the US, but samples can be shipped from outside the US. Participants provide a microbiome sample (from the gut, mouth, ear, skin, genital), send it to uBiome, who extract genetic material and identify the microbes present. uBiome has an online service to navigate the taxonomy, compare the microbiome with other groups of people, and view microbe populations split by what they metabolise. uBiome also lets you view microbiome data over time, where several samples have been provided.

A similar (but less extensive) service is provided by American Gut Project.
