Sulfoquinovose

Sufloquinovose is a sugar in green leafy vegetables used as food by commensal bacteria, especially E. coli (Escherichia coli). It is the only sugar that contains sulphur. The highest sources of sulfoquinovose are kale, spinach and watercress.[1]
