National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is a division of the US National Institutes of Health directed by Anthony Fauci, MD.[1]

NIAID is one of the participating organizations providing funds and/or staffing to the Trans-NIH ME/CFS Working Group,[2] the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Collaborative Research Centers (CRCs),[3] the Data Management and Coordinating Center (DMCC) for the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Collaborative Research Centers (CRC) (U24)[4] and the NIH Intramural Study on Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.[5]
