Clinical trials

From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history

Clinical trials are studies testing an intervention (whether medical, surgical, or behavioral) in people. The goal is to determine whether the treatment is safe and effective; and often also tests whether it is more effective or has fewer harmful side effects than existing options for treatment.[1]
