D-beta-hydroxybutyrate dehydrogenase or BDH1 is a protein involved in the citric acid (TCA) cycle function.

A small study by Sweetman et al. (2020) found that BDH1 expression was increased in patients with ME/CFS compared to healthy controls.[1]
