Hi User:Sigridjones! I see that you have started another page- that's great! I just wanted to share some information that you might find helpful:
- If you want to learn more about how these "Discussion" pages work, you can see: MEpedia:Discussion
- Here is a page that describes the steps for creating foreign language pages: Help:Foreign_languages#How_to_translate_a_page
- Note that each foreign language page is paired with an English-language page. So this page should be paired with this English-language page: List of news articles on ME and CFS
- To pair a foreign language page with an English-language page, simply name the foreign language page the same as the English-language page, but with "/de" at the end. So the name of your new page would be: List of news articles on ME and CFS/de
- After creating the page List of news articles on ME and CFS/de, you can request that the name of the page is changed to Liste von Medienberichten/de. Simply ask me to rename it or make a request at MEpedia:Help desk.
- This process may seem strange, but it is necessary to first create List of news articles on ME and CFS/de before we can rename it to Liste von Medienberichten/de. This process makes sure that the software can pair the German-language page with the corresponding English-language page.
- Once you have chosen a name for the new page, you can start the page by copying an outline from MEpedia:Article outlines. If you don't know which article outline to use, just use the one for "Scientific Study": MEpedia:Article_outlines#Scientific_Study You can always rearrange the outline later.
- For full instructions on how to create a new page, I recommend reading: Help:Starting a new page. This tutorial has a lot of important information on how to start a new page.
I know it can be very frustrating to learn this system, but you only have to learn it once! Once you learn it, it becomes quite easy!
Feel free to let me know if you have any questions.
Best regards, Pyrrhus (talk) 17:36, August 28, 2019 (EDT)
