Assume good faith is a suggestion to help give everyone involved the best possible experience in contributing to MEpedia, in the event any difficulties arise. Editing the site isn't always a self-evident process and contributors may come from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives. While occasional vandalism can happen (as on any wiki), the overwhelming majority of MEpedia contributors share the mission of advancing the knowledge base on ME/CFS. If ever you encounter a difficulty, beginning from the assumption that we are all working in good faith toward that goal is a great place to start. Consider reaching out to discuss with other contributors how best you can work on that together!
