Mindy Kitei is an American science reporter, health-book author, and a former editor at Philadelphia magazine and TV Guide.

In Mindy words:

"In 1994, I first wrote about CFS in an investigative article on the experimental AIDS and CFS drug Ampligen in "The AIDS Drug No One Can Have" for Philadelphia magazine. Not much has changed in the 16 years since: There are still no approved drugs and no effective treatments for a serious illness that few clinicians and government agencies take seriously. Five of the CFS patients whom I interviewed in 1994 have since died of the disease, including one of my best friends."[1]
