Alpha-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone or α-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH) is an endogenous peptide hormone and neuropeptide.

A study of 55 patients found significantly higher levels of a-MSH in the blood in chronic fatigue syndrome patients.[1]
