1950 New York State outbreak

During an outbreak of poliomyelitis in New York state in the 1950's, several patients with myalgic encephalomyelitis were identified and studied. Patients had lymphadenopathy, ulnar and sciatic nerve lesions, and raised urinary creatine excretion.[1]
