Pregabalin, marketed under the brand name [[Lyrica]] among others, is a medication used to treat epilepsy, neuropathic pain, [[fibromyalgia]], generalized anxiety disorder, [https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/diabetic-neuropathy/symptoms-causes/syc-20371580 diabetic nerve pain], pain after [[shingles]], [[spinal cord]] injury nerve pain, and partial onset [[seizure]]s in adults (an add-on treatment) with [[epilepsy]].  It is very similar to [[gabapentin]], both chemically and pharmacologically.
