Do we need this page? -- notjusttired (talk) 19:15, July 22, 2019 (EDT)[edit source | reply | new]

This page has no references and the only source seems to the The ME Global Chronicle, possibly a single article. Now that we have a Severe and very severe ME page, do we really need this? The story of Karina Hansen is well known by UNREST. Less known is that ME Global Chronicle was working on that case long before. The story of Joanne is similar to Karina, and the same way we got Karina free, we did the same for Joanna. From the first publication of the ME Global Chronicle (01/2014) we wrote about Joanna until we got her free in May 2015. The charity Save4Children (an initiative of the editors of the ME Global Chronicle), supported both cases financially. References to the case of Joanna can be found here: 20140122 20140128 20140227 20140327 20140427 20140627 20140827 20141015 20141119 20150222 20150422 20150622

At the time, Joanna was 14 years old, so we couldn't release much details about her. Joanna is not her real name. The story of Karina Hansen and Joanna are stories about children taken away from their parents. It's a step further then "just" having severe ME.
