Yasuyoshi Watanabe, MD, PhD, is the Director of RIKEN BDR-DAIKIN Collaboration Center at RIKEN Center for Life Science Technologies, Kobe City, Hyogo, Japan.[1] He is a Professor, Department of Physiology, Osaka City Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka City, Japan, where his specialties are fatigue science and molecular neuroimaging.[2]

Dr. Watanabe serves as an associate editor of the journal Fatigue: Biomedicine, Health & Behavior.[3]

Dr Watanabe was a reviewer for the 2015 report produced by the Institute of Medicine's Committee on Diagnostic Criteria for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.[4]
