==Major new study Sep 2019== *2019, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome Is Associated With Elevated G‐Protein Coupled Receptor Autoantibodies (Full text) Added as ref but I don't know this topic enough to add content. Describes autoimmune evidence in primary PITS and possible biomarker. Images could be added from this source. The press release is in Learn more section. User:DxCFS User:JenB User:Paulitasofia1 notjusttired (talk) 07:31, September 12, 2019 (EDT) ==Add to page:== http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/0961203316629558 Karen, can you clarify who made the change? It's a little hard for me to follow what you rolled back. And rather than rolling back, is it possible in future to keep the problematic text but then start a discussion? It makes it easier to examine the problem and figure out a solution. i.e., in general the right solution may not be a rollback but a further edit that preserves the intent behind the new content without introducing a reference issue. --JenB (talk) 23:05, 9 July 2018 (PDT) I undid the change in which sentences and clauses were reordered to improve readability. The problem is that then the references are wrong. One can't use a reference if that source doesn't refer to the newly inserted info. Since two separate sources were used to reference different information in the paragraph, the information has to be separate. This is just an, albeit awkward, condition of wikipedia writing. If MEpedia wants everything referenced then MEpedia can't use a reference that doesn't apply. The Mar and Raj reference doesn't mention anything about the symptoms (headaches, fatigue, sweating, fainting and dizziness) that the newer edit attributed to them. Those symptoms are listed in the Pots UK cite. Therefore, I undid the copy edit back so the two references match the information accredited to them. Kmdenmark (talk) 12:50, 9 July 2018 (PDT) Things to avoid Active constituents of medical marijuana cause a drop in blood pressure and other symptoms associated with postural hypotension. It is therefore recommended that POTS patients avoid marijuana. However, there are some positive anecdotal reports from patients regarding medical marijuana use. I moved this section as "Things to avoid" sounds like medical advice. Also, there are no citations --JenB (talk) 05:47, 4 July 2018 (PDT)
