==Neutrality == I have tagged this page on neutrality. This is one of the top pages, and so far I have mostly been working on getting references cited correctly (rather than as inline text), plus the recent SMILE trial editorial correction (which can be condensed). Some references may need reading for accuracy checking. User:Sisyphus if you are able to take a look I would appreciate it. I think the Freedom of Information Act requests are crucial to be kept, but sections like the gaslighting and smear tactics need rewriting - they read more as facts than accusations, especially in light of whether charities have made these accusations or a few individuals (charities and petitions should be given more weight & named). Harassment and intimidation of ME activists may give useful references, especially regarding Crawley and David Tuller. Keith Geraghty's research has also pointed out that claims of harassment are a way to detract from scientific debate and avoid releasing research data - and they are largely unfounded. notjusttired (talk) 08:50, July 18, 2019 (EDT) ==Old messages == Removed "*2015, Doctor Crawley involved in a complaint against paediatrician and ME/CFS expert Nigel Speight(NEEDS SOURCE)." because no source found in internet search. http://www.meaction.net/2016/04/23/gmc-limits-dr-nigel-speights-license-charities-fight-back/ The above link has an editor's note that reads: "Editorโs note: This article previously reported that the limits started after a complaint from Esther Crawley, medical advisor to the Association of Young People with ME. This was in error โ we do not know how the complaint was initiated." Eventually will create SMILE, MAGNET & FITNET pages ---- Should her being Lead Medical Advisor for AYME be noted under Directorships and Shareholdings? I read "somewhere" that AYME is contractually obligated to give her a percentage or fixed amount of money from their donations.--DxCFS (talk) 10:58, 1 December 2016 (PST) == Harassment and the FOI request == This page seems to take the view that her claims of harassment are obviously false and biased, including citing a FOI request that is supposed to demonstrate this. The FOI request, however, only asked for official records of harassment. Bristol University, and universities in general, don't generally officially record cases of harassment from third parties, so it's very disingenuous to write that the FOI request "exposed Crawley's harassment claims as non existent". In addition, the university released a statement detailing she had received significant harassment. That her claims of harassment are obviously false is highly questionable. You can just google her name to find a twitter account pretending to be her and tweeting things that paint her in a poor light to find evidence of a type of harassment. Given how many people have ME, it's very likely the claims of some people harassing her are true. Going out of the way to deny claims of harassment, as this page seems to be doing, isn't going to achieve anything.
