==References == These are not in line with MEpedia:Science guidelines - verywellhealth has no references itself, and although it appears to be useful, the author is a health journalist. Central sensitivity syndrome(s) is a commonly used term with different meanings and little scientific evidence. More a theory that fact. ===Alternative references=== *2009, Models and Mechanisms of Hyperalgesia and Allodynia (Full text) *Clinical pain management - refers to small fiber neuropathy as possible cause *What is pain? - Hyperpathia from repetitive stimuli included notjusttired (talk) ==Information moved here == Both ME/CFS and fibromyalgia (FMS) patients can experience allodynia in any one or all its forms.Although ME/CFS and FMS patients have reported allodynia, it has not been studied in either condition. :Archived here since the source is a science journalist on verywellhealth who had not cited any studies. It is extremely hard to find mentions of allodynia in relation to ME/CFS - could this be a symptom from fibro found in this with both conditions? No mention in ICC Primer. The only mention in the Canadian Consensus Criteria calls it "widespread pain" - seemingly confusing it with Hyperalgesia. :Several fibro studies refer to allodynia, unsure what "not studied in relation to" fibromyalgia would mean - would this mean no studies just on allodynia? Or no studies on pain which also ask directly about allodynia? - notjusttired (talk) 17:42, 16 April 2019 (EDT)
