Svetlana Orlova, PhD, is the leading researcher and assistant professor at the laboratory of influenza and influenza-like illnesses of Republican Research and Practical Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, Republic of Belarus. Her main interest has been in the diagnosis and monitoring of beta-herpes viruses in patients with a variety of somatic and mental health problems.[1]

Dr. Orlova is a member of the Biomarkers Working Group of ME/CFS across Europe on behalf of the EUROMENE, a European Union COST Action CA15111 not-for-profit research organization committed to tackling the cause and treatment for Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.[2]
