Silymarin (active extract of milk thistle) promotes liver health. Silymarin supports of healthy DNA function, stabilizes plasma membranes, and stimulates of liver cells.[1] Silymarin promotes detoxification.[2]

The active extract of milk thistle, called silymarin, is a mixture of flavonolignans, and includes silydianin, silychristin, and silybin, with silybin being the most biologically active.
