Seborrheic dermatitis is a type of chronic eczema that appears mostly on the upper back, scalp nose, or other oily areas of skin.[1][2] It can begin at any age and causes itchy patches and inflamed skin and varies from dandruff to white or yellow crusty flakes.[1] Seborrheic dermatitis may cause greasy or red areas of skin.[1]
