Peppermint and peppermint oil (mentha x piperita L., menthae piperitae aetheroleum) are traditional herbal alternative medicines.
Potential uses
Peppermint is traditionally used for symptoms of coughs and colds, localized muscle pain, and localized itching of unbroken skin.[1]
