Pentadecapeptide BPC 157
From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history
Pentadecapeptide BPC 157, a fragment of gastric juice peptide BPC[1], is an experimental compound used in research for its potential applications in wound healing, collagen repair and angiogenesis[2].
BPC 157 improved wound healing in rats with muscle crush injury and contusions, and quadricep transection[3][4], even in the presence of corticosteroids (which impair wound healing).[4] It has also demonstrated efficacy in experimental ulcer models.[5]
