Nicola Blackwood is a British politician and former MP for the Conservative party.[1] She represented the constituency of Oxford West and Abingdon (to the West of London) in the UK parliament from 2010 to 2017. She was diagnosed with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) when she was 15 becoming housebound when she was 17. In addition to ME, she was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS). [2]
