Neuroendocrineimmune Dysfunction Syndrome, or NDS was the name recommended in Sept 2003 to be used by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The recommendation was made by the Name Change Workgroup working under the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Advisory Committee. The name change did not pass but references in research and literature are seen time to time.[1]
