Martin Phillips

Martin Phillips (born 13 March 1976) is an English former professional footballer. During his career he played for Plymouth, Portsmouth, Bristol Rovers, Exeter, Scunthorpe and Manchester City.[1]

Illness

In May 2007 it was reported that Martin Phillips was forced to retire from football at the age of 31 due to a diagnosis of chronic fatigue syndrome.[2][3][4]
