He leads the CureME team and the UK ME/CFS biobank. He serves as a Member Substitute for EUROMENE, an international not-for-profit organization for ME/CFS research.

He is a doctor and general practitioner, with training across medicine, epidemiology and public health.[1] In 2018, Dr Nacul was appointed to the review committee for the NICE guidelines for ME/CFS used by the British NHS.[2]

ME/CFS Common Data Element (CDE) Project[edit | edit source]

Dr Nacul serves on the Fatigue Working Group of the Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Common Data Element (CDE) Project sponsored by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.[3]
