Gez Medinger is a British film-maker and former competitive runner who became a science writer and Long COVID researcher after contracting COVID-19.[1]

Medinger developed mononucleosis (glandular fever) at age 20, while studying at Oxford University. A long recovery followed, but he fully recovered.[1]
