History[edit | edit source]

Chronic Illness Inclusion began in 2017 as a social research project called the Chronic Illness Inclusion Project or or CIIP, initiated by Catherine Hale and Jenny Lyus.[1] In 2021, Chronic Illness Inclusion was founded as a new organization, based on the work from the original project.[1]

In 2021, it became a disabled people's organization called Chronic Illness Inclusion.[1]
