CD8 (cluster of differentiation 8) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that serves as a co-receptor for the T cell receptor (TCR).

A study by Griffith University found that CD8+ T cells, also known as cytotoxic T cells, exhibited significantly decreased CD127 and PSGL-1[1]
