Anthony S. Fauci or Tony Fauci has been director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in the United States since 1984.[1] Dr Fauci oversees research into such as HIV/AIDS, SARS-CoV-2 and other respiratory infections, Lyme disease, malaria, Ebola, Zika, and emerging infectious diseases, and supports research on immune-related illnesses, including autoimmune disorders, asthma and allergies.
