Doctor Amolak Singh Bansal is a consultant immunologist at the Epsom & St Helier University Hospitals in the United Kingdom. He has researched the involvement of B cells (also known as B lymphocytes) in myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS). His professional interests are allergy, autoimmunity, CFS/ME and immunodeficiency.

Dr. Bansal developed a diagnostic scoring system, the Bansal Score Chart for ME/CFS, in order to improve the diagnostic certainty for primary and secondary care physicians.[1]
