Pocinki''' is a physician of Internal Medicine with a special interest in [[Chronic Fatigue Syndrome]], [[Orthostatic intolerance|Orthostatic Intolerance]], [[Dysautonomia]], joint hypermobility, and [[Ehlers-Danlos syndrome|Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome]] and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Washington, DC. Dr. Pocinki began studying ME/CFS(when it was called [[Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome|CFIDS]]) at the [[National Institutes of Health]] (NIH) in 1987. Since then he has given lectures and written articles for patients and doctors explaining the illness and championing treatment. In 2000, he was the recipient of the CSN (CFIDS Support Network) Action Champion Award by the CFIDS Association of America.
