CAPTCHA white list?[edit source | reply | new]

Hi Bill,

I noticed that you have administrator rights on MEpedia and have also dealt with some MediaWiki matters, so I wondered if you might be a good person to inquire with about the CAPTCHA and starting the white list of reliable sources so that users can add good references without having to solve the CAPTCHA every time they save an edit. A couple of us have started a draft list of suggestions at MediaWiki_talk:Captcha-addurl-whitelist so it would be a matter of picking out the ones that seem suitable and then, I believe, just copying them (less the bullet points) to MediaWiki:Captcha-addurl-whitelist, as shown in this example. Anyway no worries if this isn't within your purview or availability. Or if you have a suggestion about who I should be asking instead (it appears editing the whitelist requires admin rights), that'd be great too!

Thanks so much. Canele (talk) 19:40, 29 January 2019 (EST)
