User:Pyrrhus Can you explain what's going on here, and why the changes for Lingo are needed? This is a critical template called by the horribly complex Template:Cleanup. ~Njt (talk) 08:55, October 29, 2019 (EDT)

Sure Njt, I noticed that the description and date provided in the "citation needed" template were not being shown to users when they clicked on "citation needed". So I changed this template so that clicking on "citation needed" now shows the description, date, as well as a link to Mepedia:Citation_needed, all as a lingo-style tooltip. For an example, check out the first "citation needed" on this page: Adenosyl-methionine.
This template is also called by {{Cleanup/Page needed}}, so the formatting there should be improved as well, see the first statement on User:Pyrrhus for an example.
This template is not called by Template:Cleanup, so you don't have to worry about anything changing there. Hope this helps.

Nice :-) I was thinking of the fix parameter used in the cleanup template I think. ~Njt (talk) 17:08, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
