Talk:Diagnostic biomarker

From MEpedia, a crowd-sourced encyclopedia of ME and CFS science and history

This page is getting very large.

I think it would be better to re-arrange it into subheadings by the area of body or type of test, with alphabetic subheadings underneath, or move tests to change to a category with separate pages for each test, perhaps with discategories like Brain imaging, Blood tests. Tests could turn fit in multiple categories of needed.

  • Blood tests
    • Cytokines
    • B-calls
    • Plasma neuropeptide Y
  • Brain imaging
  • Physiological tests
    • Hand grip strength
    • Two-day cardiopulmonary exercise testing
  • Saliva tests

Reliability of the markers is missing -- 95.90.247.229 19:23, May 15, 2021 (UTC)[edit source | reply | new]

The page provides a list of "biomarkers", but does not mention which of those studies have been replicated / falsified and to what extend. This is necessary to judge the expressiveness of that particular method.
