Diagnostic criteria[edit source | reply | new]

I can't find these. I also don't know if they are used within the health service or if the Lloyd criteria were funded by public money or the background. I've not found the full paper, but symptoms recognized should be referenced on other pages if they aren't already included, eg List of symptoms in ME CFS and Definitions of ME and CFS. I had expected to find the diagnostic criteria to be reproduced in other research or articles but haven't seen this yet. I'm a bit at a loss about the content needed on here. This looks like the diagnostic criteria p14
Australia 1990 (CFS)

  • Substantial functional impairment – disruption of daily activities
  • symptoms lasting 6 months or more
  • Cognitive or neuropsychiatric symptoms required
  • Post exertion fatigue.
  • New onset not necessary
  • Exclusions: Medical: Known physical causes Psychiatric: psychosis, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, eating disorders.
