National CFIDS Foundation
National CFIDS Foundation (NCF) is an American non-profit founded in 1997 that funds research and provides information, education, and support to patients of CFIDS (also known as ME/CFS), Gulf War Illness (GWI) and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS). The Foundation is funded solely by individual contributions and has no paid employees. Membership includes a quarterly newsletter.[1] The current president is Gail Kansky.[2]

Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) - Chronic Fatigue and Immune Dysfunction Syndrome is another term for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, but one which emphasizes the immunological aspects of the disease. Popular in the 1990s, this term has apparently fallen into disuse.
