User:MEandCFS what license would you like for the images you created and uploaded here? If you already put the image on Wikipedia or wikimedia Commons it would need to be the and license that you chose on there - probably "share alike". There's lots of choices but the main ones are -
- Anyone can copy it, share it, put it on their own website, and edit it, as long as they give you credit and say what changes you made - MEpedia default license (share alike - CC-BY-SA-3.0)
- Anyone can copy, share, put it on their own website, edit and do whatever they want with it, and they don't need to credit you as the author (public domain CC-zero) - not recommended
- Anyone can copy it, share it, put it on their own website but not change it, and they must credit you (CC-BY-ND-4.0)
- Same as any of those above, but no changes made (no derivatives license) - not recommended
Anything uploaded from Special:Upload now let's you pick licenses from the dropdown box, but those uploaded when editing a page or old images need licenses added (I'm currently working on this) notjusttired (talk) 05:19, July 30, 2019 (EDT)
