Dr. Vincent F. Hillman is medical director of the Hunter-Hopkins Center, a specialist center for ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia and related conditions in Charlotte, North Carolina, United States.[1][2]

Education and early career[edit | edit source]

Vincent F. Hillman, was born in New York state and earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering at Clarkson University, then a master's degree in biochemistry/oncology at the University of Buffalo. Dr. Hillman completed his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine, and completed his clinical years at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York, graduating in 1996.[3] After medical school, Dr Hillman did a Family Practice Residency in Bay Shore, NY, then worked for the US Army at the West Point Military Academy and Winn Army Hospital at Fort Stewart, Georgia, and he ran a private practice as well. He set up a private Family Practice in Huntersville, NC in 2007.[3]

Dr. Hillman also has a special interest in helping clients with disabilities, and he has performed over 13,000 examinations for Social Security Disability.[3]

ME/CFS[edit | edit source]

Dr Vincent F. Hillman took over as medical director at Hunter-Hopkins Center in 2018 following the retirement of Dr Charles Lapp.[1][2]

Dr Hillman has a family member with chronic fatigue syndrome.[3]
