Tachycardia

Tachycardia is an unusually rapid heart rate, which is typically defined as over 100 beats per minute when at rest.[1][2]

Symptom recognition[edit | edit source]

Tachycardia is a recognized symptom of myalgic encephalomyelitis in the International Consensus Criteria.[3]

Tachycardia is also a symptom found in some people with Long COVID, and is listed as an optional symptom in the World Health Organization Long COVID diagnostic criteria.[4]
